Wizz Air today announces the launch of six new routes from London Luton Airport.
From next spring, Wizz Air customers will be able to reach four new destinations across Greece: Chania, Mykonos, Rhodes, Zakynthos, alongside two additional routes to the European cities of Bordeaux and Dortmund.

Jetstar’s first-ever direct flight between Hamilton and Christchurch took off Monday, as the airline celebrated 20 years of operations in Christchurch.

Qatar Airways’ resumption flight to Canberra touched down on 2 December 2025, officially marking the return of its daily service to the Australian capital via Melbourne. Qatar Airways now operates a total Australian network of six key cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. The resumption brings enhanced global access, greater competition, and expanded travel options for passengers across the ACT and surrounding regions.

Emirates has marked a historic milestone in its Australia operations by welcoming its first A350 to Adelaide starting 1 December 2025. In becoming the first city in Emirates’ global network to receive the ultra-long-range model, Adelaide now offers Emirates’ new Premium Economy and has become the fifth and final city in Emirates’ Australian network to feature the highly awarded cabin.

The Board of Directors of Norse Atlantic ASA has appointed Eivind Roald as the Group’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder and CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen. Roald will assume the role with immediate effect.

Air Canada, the largest Canadian airline and Canada’s flag carrier, is offering discounted return fares this Black Friday for UK and Irish customers travelling to Canada, the US, Mexico and the Caribbean.

From 09:00 on 27 November to 11:59 on 3 December, UK customers will receive an up to £50 discount when booking Economy seats. Meanwhile, travellers in Ireland will get up to €50 off select fares.

British Airways is expanding its network with the launch of two new short-haul additions to its route map, including Tivat in Montenegro and Guernsey in the Channel Islands.

The UK’s flag carrier will launch seasonal flights to Tivat from London Heathrow Terminal 3 on 14 May 2026, operating during the summer season. British Airways has also announced year-round flights to Guernsey, commencing on 19 April 2026.

TAP Air Portugal is launching a mega Black FLYday campaign with promotional fares for all of the airline’s destinations. In 2026, it will be possible to fly within Portugal and to Europe from £43, discover Africa from £210, cross the Atlantic to North America from £350, or embark on an adventure to Brazil with fares from £490.

Promotional tickets included in the Black FLYday campaign can be purchased between November 26 and December 2, 2025, for travel between January 13 and May 15, 2026, on flights operated by TAP.

Etihad Airways carried 2.0 million passengers in October 2025, a 28% increase compared with the same month last year.

Year-to-date, Etihad has now carried 18.1 million passengers, representing 19% growth over the first ten months of 2024. The airline maintained an 88% passenger load factor in October and year-to-date, demonstrating effective capacity management alongside rapid expansion.
