Etihad Reports January 2026 Traffic Statistics

Etihad Airways has released its traffic statistics for January 2026, continuing the strong momentum that defined a record-breaking 2025 and reinforcing its position as one of the fastest-growing airlines in the world.

The airline welcomed 2.2 million passengers in January, a 29 per cent increase compared with January 2025, when 1.7 million guests flew with Etihad. Passenger load factor reached 89.9 per cent for the month, up from 89.1 per cent a year earlier, reflecting sustained demand across the network and continued efficiency in capacity management.

EVA Air Launches Nonstop Service Between Taipei and Washington, D.C. on June 26

EVA Air will start a new route from Taipei to Washington, D.C. on June 26 this year, offering four flights each week. With this new route, EVA Air’s North American network will grow to include 10 gateways, two of which will feature the new fourth-generation Premium Economy class and increase the total weekly flights to 98. United Expects Biggest Summer Yet at Chicago O’Hare, Growing to Record 750 Flights Per Day

United today announced it will reach 750 flights per day this summer from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), 200 more than its next largest competitor and the largest schedule ever flown by any airline operating here.

Throughout 2026, Chicago’s hometown airline will offer nonstop service to 222 destinations – more than any other airline at ORD, and 38 more than its next largest competitor – including 47 international cities across Europe, Asia and South America as well as 175 U.S. destinations.
